Ryan Lalonde and Bran Rainey are two friends from a small city in Ontario. Although not strictly related, they grew up as cousins and know each other quite well. Now they make videos together, with Ryan handling the editing and filming, and Bran handling the scripts and ideas, although the roles are often switched and not even close to being absolute. When the script requires it, Ryan's cousin Ryley fills in for a third role. Other people occasionally fill background roles.

Burton Cummings is a Canadian musician and songwriter. A gifted showman, he was the lead singer for the Canadian rock band The Guess Who. During his 10 years in The Guess Who, from 1965 to 1975, he sang and wrote or co-wrote many well known songs including "American Woman," "No Time," "Share the Land," "Hand Me Down World," "Undun," "Laughing," and "These Eyes."
