June Foray & Bill Scott part 5

Host Joe Bev presents part five of June Foray and ...

Host Joe Bev presents part five of June Foray and Bill Scott ("Rocky and Bullwinkle") talking with Bob Claster (1985), Edward Everett Horton, Bill Scott, June Foray, and Paul Frees in a Fractured Fairy Tales: "Puss n Boots" (1959), Hans Conried, Bill Scott, June Foray and Paul Frees in a Fractured Flickers: ..."Tarfoot, the Apeman" (1964) conclusion, Uncle Dunkle and Donnie in "The Green Cow" (2009), the Red Dirt Rangers sing "Ribbet" (2000), Daws Butler and Doug Young in a Quick Draw McGraw cartoon (1959), "Tom Mix and the Mystery of the Bodiless Horseman" part three (2010), "Willoughby and the Professor Meet the Godfather" part five (1972), and music from the "Captain Kangaroo" show.Joe Bevilacqua, also known as Joe Bev, is primarily known as a radio theater dramatist, but his career has taken him into every aspect of show business, including stage, film, and television, as a producer, director, writer, actor, and even cartoonist. In 1971 his father bought him a cassette recorder, on which he created his first audio story, Willoughby and the Professor, acting all the voices himself at the age of twelve. In 1975 Daws Butler, the voice of Yogi Bear and many other Hanna-Barbera and Jay Ward cartoon characters, dubbed himself Bevilacqua’s personal mentor after hearing a 120-minute cassette of Willoughby improvisations. Since 1980 Bevilacqua has produced many award-winning radio programs for National Public Radio, Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, and others."Joe has also combed through those mounds of audio (if I may mix metaphors) to come up with Volume One of "The Best of Cartoon Carnival." This features Joe's personal interviews, some of whom are no longer around to talk today: Joe Barbera, Leonard Maltin, Bob Clampett, Stan Freberg, Daws Butler, Mel Blanc, Bill Marx, June Foray, Bill Scott, Hoyt Curtin, and Craig Marin. The almost three-hour compilation show also features narration from Doug Young (Doggie Daddy) and Janet Waldo (Judy Jetson), both happily still with us today."- Don Yowp ---The Best of Cartoon Carnival collections are available as MP3 downloads or CD at:http://www.downpour.com/catalogsearch/result/?collection=Consumer&refinements=&q=Cartoon+CarnivalRare Daws Butler and Uncle Dunkle Collections:http://www.downpour.com/catalogsearch/result/?collection=Consumer&refinements=&q=Daws+Butlerhttp://www.dawsbutler.com/http://www.abebooks.com/Mel-Blanc-Man-Thousand-Voices-Ohmart/11837867979/bd  Mel Blanc: The Man of a Thousand Voices Ohmart, BenPublished by BEARMANOR MEDIA, 2012ISBN 10: 1593932596 / ISBN 13: 9781593932596New / Paperback / Quantity Available: 2From Media Mall (Fyshwick, ACT, Australia) Bookseller Rating: Available From More Booksellers 9 NewfromUS$ 42.552 UsedfromUS$ 66.38http://www.amazon.com/Daws-Butler-Characters-Actor-Ohmart/dp/1593930151:Daws Butler, Characters Actor Paperback – November 20, 2004by Ben Ohmart  (Author), Joe Bevilacqua  (Author)   9 customer reviews See all formats and editions Paperback $22.1013 Used from $17.8622 New from $22.102 Collectible from $24.95---The Best of Cartoon Carnival collections are available as MP3 downloads or CD at:http://www.downpour.com/catalogsearch/result/?collection=Consumer&refinements=&q=Cartoon+CarnivalBearManor Media has published a number of books on Popeye and animation in general.http://www.bearmanormedia.com/he-am-what-he-am-jack-mercer-the-voice-of-popeye-by-fred-m.-grandinettihttp://www.bearmanormedia.com/animationhttp://www.bearmanormedia.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=75http://www.alibris.com/Stronger-Than-Spinach-The-Secret-Appeal-of-the-Famous-Studios-Popeye-Cartoons-Steve-R-Bierly/book/29608354?qsort=c&matches=10http://www.alibris.com/Jack-Mercer-the-Voice-of-Popeye-Fred-M-Grandinetti/book/29593892Other Cartoon Carnivals in the world:http://www.nitehawkcinema.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/carnivalposter.jpghttp://www.myabandonware.com/media/screenshots/h/hanna-barbera-cartoon-carnival-3nr/hanna-barbera-cartoon-carnival_1.pnghttp://cartoonresearch.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/dont_miss.jpgFan art:http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_7QsraBO4tqM/TGr7z7XVWMI/AAAAAAAABBo/izR3OM3_TaE/s1600/CartoonCarnival_BugsMickey_Colour.pngThe Best of Cartoon Carnival volumes 1 - 4 are available from Blackstone Audio and Waterlogg Productions, individually as MP3 download:http://www.downpour.com/the-best-of-cartoon-carnival-volume-one-1http://www.downpour.com/the-best-of-cartoon-carnival-volume-two-1http://www.downpour.com/the-best-of-cartoon-carnival-volume-3-1http://www.downpour.com/the-best-of-cartoon-carnival-volume-4-1and as a 21.7 hour CD collection:http://www.downpour.com/the-best-of-cartoon-carnival-1More at http://www.waterlogg.com.
