Mario Ajero is currently Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy and Coordinator of Class Piano at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. He earned his Ph.D. in Music Education with a concentration in Piano Pedagogy at the University of Oklahoma and is a member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association). It proposes teaching that is both specific and integrated in interdisciplinary projects, allowing the practice of all media taught within the Department. All lessons are project-based and seek to encourage creativity and experimentation in the field of visual communication. During the orientation period, students acquire specific visual, creative and technical skills enabling them to manage, direct and produce complex communication projects that make use of the knowledge, techniques and strategies of digital publishing.
