    The team that created a DIY self-balancing scooter in 2007 is gearing up for another summer project. Besides being useful for creating a project hint, the laser cutter/engraver is a really fun machine to watch. It uses a 150W CO2 laser to cut through plastics and can scan at low power to engrave.

Ethan's machine had previously achieved the two highest scores in the competition, but Greg's awesome strategy of scoring quickly and defending paid off in the end.
